I recently had the pleasure of capturing these special moments between Eleanor, Matt and their children for their relaxed in home family photography in Lytham. There’s something magical about stepping into a family home and seeing everyday life unfold. As a Lytham family photographer, I’m always drawn to the little in-between moments: the way a hand rests on a shoulder, the way a child leans into their parent mid-laugh, or the way sunlight streams through a familiar window. One of my favourite parts? Watching Eleanor and Matt grab a bed sheet and turn it into the ultimate ride, pulling the kids from room to room while they giggled uncontrollably. It’s these moments – the ones you can’t stage – that truly tell the story of a family’s love. Just for an hour lose yourself in the moment, dance in the kitchen, jump on the bed and make memories with the people you love most in this world.
