You know that feeling when the air turns crisp, the leaves start to fall, and everything just feels a little more cosy?
That's the feeling I want to capture for you this autumn.
My mini sessions at Beacon Fell are for the wild-at-heart families and mamas-to-be who want soft woodland light, fallen leaves, and photos that feel like a story, not a pose.
I don't want your children to sit still, and I don't expect them to.
I want them to explore.
To chase leaves, climb fallen branches, wander off and get pulled back into your arms for a cuddle.
This isn't about perfect smiles or eyes on the camera. It's wild hair in the breeze, hands wrapped around a bump, real laughter caught mid-moment. Come as you are and I'll capture the magic.
Child led and family centred, documenting the moments that matter, the moments you wish you could relive when they're not so little anymore.

This session is suitable for families with children 4 months or older, if you have a baby under this age please see Newborn Photography as this includes the whole family and is designed for younger babies.

Additional images are priced at £20 per image or you can opt to upgrade to the full gallery for £150
Add a mini highlight reel of your session, cinematic moments of you and yours, film you'll treasure forever. Priced at £75
When you upgrade to the full gallery you will receive 5 complimentary 10x8 fine art mounted prints to decorate your home.
FAQ
Where will the photoshoot take place?
Beacon Fell in Lancashire, a beautiful forest with breathtaking scenery and fells. The perfect place to to document this season.
Full details and meeting instructions will be given upon booking.
What happens if it rains?
The British weather isn't always on our side! In the case of rain or dangerous weather I have a back up date of the 1st November.
How should we dress for our session?
To get the best out of your photos I recommend neutral, earthy or muted colours as these are timeless and keep the focus on your family. The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable. When you book I will send you a detailed guide for styling.
For my pregnant mums I have a beautiful maternity client wardrobe you're welcome to use.
Do you require a deposit?
I request a £100 deposit to secure your session with me. The remaining payment is due 48 hours before your scheduled session.
When will I receive my images?
My turn around time for images is 3 weeks from the date of your photoshoot. You will receive your hand edited gallery via email.
Is 20 minutes really enough time?
Yes! and here's why. I don't want your kids to sit still, and I don't expect them to. Thirty minutes isn't about ticking through a list of poses; it's just enough time to let everyone settle in, wander, explore, and forget the camera's even there. Some of the most beautiful, honest moments happen fast. A hand reaching for a leaf, a look between you and your little one and that's exactly what I'm there to catch.
When should I book?
Spaces are extremely limited and for one day only. I recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Can all the family join in?
This session is ideal for 2 adults and up to 4 children. For extended family please contact me for details and further information as this will include additional charges due to time and the nature of photographing more people.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Yes! I specialise in lifestyle photography which means that I capture natural moments. I offer gentle posing suggestions to guide you through the photoshoot. Posing for photos can feel a bit awkward at first, but don’t worry I will make you as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
