You see photos online of women's births and think thats exactly what I want to capture for families. You're so passionate about birth that capturing it feels like the perfect next step but now you're thinking about how to actually start.
Birth photography is its own world.
You're documenting something raw, intimate and completely unpredictable. You're learning to work with the light you have, anticipate moments before they happen, tell a story without directing it, and find your creative voice in an environment where you don't get a second chance. **Please note: this is a simulated birth photography session with a pregnant model, not her actually giving birth. It provides an opportunity to practise your approach in a supported environment, but cannot fully replicate the unpredictability of photographing a real birth.
